Ixelles - Le Toison d'Or
From € 850.000
In the heart of the Toison d'Or, an internationally renowned district not far from Avenue Louise and Sablon, a contemporary new construction with more than 12,000 m² of commercial space and apartments.
The building, designed and conceived by architect Ben van Berkel of UNStudio, integrates perfectly with neighbouring buildings and meets the most modern environmental standards. To avoid the monolithic qualities common to block structures, the façade of the Golden Fleece is diversified by variations in texture, depth and the repeated rhythm of a series of curved vertical frames. These frames are used to lock the balconies of the apartments on the upper floors, while facilitating the layout of the large shop windows.
The 72 apartments (from 50 to 750 m²) offer variable dimensions, which allows a certain mix of residents. To ensure high levels of light in the interior, the floor-to-ceiling heights reach at least 2.7 m in the living areas. For apartments located along the Avenue, this height increases to more than 3 m. Open kitchens in the form of large furnishing elements create a living space in the heart of the apartments and determine the circulation through the spaces.
Combining high quality materials, spacious volumes and high ceilings, the latter consist of brightly lit reception rooms extended by vast terraces that offer an exceptional view of the city, kitchens fully equipped with luxury built-in appliances, bedrooms with custom-made dressing rooms and en-suite bathrooms.
